Overall, I love this spot for Naperville. Close enough to the downtown area, but not close enough where it’d be annoying to get in and get out. The asiago bagels are pretty, pretty, pretttyyy good. I always get the bacon, egg, and cheese. I went to get 4 for me and my coworkers, and the bacon was kinda cold and slightly undercooked in all of them. I honestly don’t mind waiting for food, could’ve cooked the bacon like 2 minutes longer and I wouldn’t have cared. There were only 2 people in line after me, so no need to rush. 9/10 bagel sandwiches tho, could’ve been a 10/10

I went this morning bc I know they are quick and easy. This is the second time I have had stale butter on my bagel and it tastes disgusting. I would also like to point out you guys didn’t even take the time to spread the butter. I was the only person in there at 7am so I don’t see why you could not do so. I am so beyond disappointed as I have never had bad experiences with TGAB until the Naperville one opened.

The Great American Bagel in Westmont is fantastic so I thought it would be the same in Naperville --- It's Not. I have gone 3 times and thus far the bagels do not seem as fresh. Maybe they just need a bit to get settled in the new location. Today's bagel was to be toasted - I opened it when I got to work & it was burnt so there went breakfast. The smoothie was good.

So happy a bagel shop opened in North Naperville because we have too many donut places. Bagels were decent. Had the tuna melt and the flavor was good but the tuna salad had too much mayo mixed in, made it sloppy. Service was a bit slow but I know they just opened a few days ago.

North Naperville finally has a bagel spot AND it’s a GAB?! Mind blown!! This location recently opened, 3 days has been opened, brand new. I think with some time and tweaks I can easily update this to 5 stars. It is designed similar to other GABs and is kept clean. Staff members were friendly and the owner was there when my husband and I came in. Everyone is still learning but in my opinion they all seemed like pros. I’m comparing this location to the Elk Grove village location. TBH the EG location is the best out of all the franchises. How can Naperville be comparable to EG? My tips - the bagels are missing something, the texture isn’t as fluffy and thick. The cream cheese isn’t as flavorful and they are pretty stingy when it comes to how much cream cheese is on the bagel. For a $5+ bagel with cream cheese I expect more. Overall this is an OK bagel place. I do believe it can be better and I am hopeful when I come back things will only continue progress to 5 stars.
